What is Sui and why it’s better?
Sui is a decentralized, permissionless L1 blockchain designed to enable creators and developers to create experiences for web3 users. Similar to Aptos, its proof-of-stake network will scale horizontally and organize data so that transactions are executed in parallel. This drastically reduces computing power and transaction costs.
SUI uses Move, a programming language based on Rust, for parallel execution, Sui uses a different version than that used by Aptos, Sui implements Narwhal and Tusk as a consensus algorithm, which is a directed acyclic graph (DAG) based mempool used for parallelization at the runtime layer. The protocol is asynchronous, which means it can resist DoS attacks.
